A description of the golf course from the gold tees

  • Hole #1

376 Yard Par 4: The opening hole is guarded by a lake to the left and requires a tee shot with a slight cut to navigate the dogleg right. A good drive will leave a short to mid-iron to a large multi-level green.

  • Hole #2

147 Yard Par 3: This short but sneaky par 3 is framed by a lake to your left. Prevailing winds and pin placement will often complicate club selection.

  • Hole #3

409 Yard Par 4: The longest par 4 on the course requires a straight drive as out-of-bounds guards the right and tree-filled rough guards the left.

  • Hole #4

382 Yard Par 4: This hole plays longer than the yardage indicates. It is into the prevailing wind and the lake guarding the right will swallow errant tee shots. Your approach here is protected by one of the toughest greens on the course.

  • Hole #5

370 Yard Par 4: This dogleg right par 4 will tempt the big hitters to fly the corner of the dogleg, attempting to clear the lake and trees, potentially leaving a short iron to a tricky green.

  • Hole #6

499 Yard Par 5: Bombs away! This reachable par 5 guards drives with a lake on the left and out-of-bounds on the right. A good drive here will create an opportunity to approach this green, once the largest in Texas, in two shots.

  • Hole #7

384 Yard Par 4: A good drive on this slight dogleg left will enable you to attack a green protected by two bunkers.

  • Hole #8

167 Yard Par 3: A par 3 bordered by a lake on the left plays much longer than the yardage due to prevailing winds.

  • Hole #9

501 Yard Par 5: Decisions on this par 5 become complicated after a good tee shot. Long hitters will be tempted to navigate the lake guarding the green, while others will be faced with a difficult lay-up due to a creek, lake and trees framing the landing area.
